Wouldn’t it be great if every day we could be privy to a little gas gauge on the forehead of those around us that would let us know if they were full or empty? Life would be so much easier to handle because then we would know the reason our spouse or family member yelled at us.
In many ways, however, it’s fortunate that we don’t have this gauge. Far too many of us run dangerously close to empty the majority of the time.
In John 10:10 Jesus said,
“I have come that you might have life, and have it to the full.”
Have you ever pondered the thought of being “full” all the time?
The gift of the Holy Spirit is certainly one way.
Another practical step is to count your blessings. Name them out loud and thank the Lord for the many ways he has blessed you and your family and watch your tank fill up!
