It is such a challenge to communicate with your spouse. One of the reasons is because we have to communicate about so many different things. Last week we discussed The Living Room, or Communicating through Planning, The Family Room, or Communicating through Play, The Dining Room, or Communicating through the Trivial and The Kitchen, or Communicating through Service.

This week, we begin in the bedroom.

This week we’ll cover communication in…

The Bedroom: Communicating about Intimacy

The Bathroom: Communicating about Crisis

The Car: Communicating about Vision

The Basement: Communicating through Worship

LISTENER SHOUT-OUT OF THE WEEK

Thanks for the kind words, Dan and Becky! We’re glad you enjoyed the Ultimate Date Night!

Mentioned in this episode:

Best Pork Tenderloin Ever

  • Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
  • Lawry’s Seasoned Pepper
  • American Spoon Apple Cider Grilling Sauce (available at Spoon.com)

Season the tenderloin generously on both sides. Sear the tenderloin on both sides for 3-4 minutes a side. Cut the tenderloin into medallions about 3/4 inch thick. Finish grilling to medium rare-medium. (Don’t overcook.)

Create a “boat” out of aluminum foil and place some of the grilling sauce in the bottom.

Place the medallions in the boat and cover with the remaining grilling sauce. Hint: put a couple ounces of water into the grilling sauce jar after you’ve dumped it into the boat. Seal the Jar and shake. You will get all the grilling sauce out plus add some moisture to the boat.

Place additional tin foil over the boat and seal well. Let it simmer on medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
