The dictionary defines character as the moral or ethical qualities that make up a man. It is the inner stuff – what a person is made of inside. Our character may be the most important thing about us, and each day, every decision we make is forming that character.

Adrian Rogers said,

“Your character is the harvest of your habits.”

This means you are forming your character – whether good or bad – through whatever habits you practice.

Do you know what else that means? If you change your habits, you can change your character.

In order to change your habits, you need to feed your mind from a different source. Truth! Constantly being filled with the truth rewires your ideas, which transforms your actions. New habits are soon formed from your actions, resulting in a change in your character.

God has given us the ability to decide what kind of character we develop. So fill your mind with truth, let the truth transform your habits, and those habits will form Godly character.
